Overview
Poppy and Sage Studio is a dance and wellness studio in Lyons, Colorado. We offer dance classes for every body, from ages 3-99+. We are also home to the Poppy and Sage Dance Company; a showcase and competition team that is dedicated to the joy of movement and strengthening dance technique.

Mission
Our mission is to bring wellness through dance, movement, and nutrition to our beloved community of Lyons, CO and beyond. We welcome all to our space of inclusion, kindness, and joy. 

Founder’s Story
The story of our founders begins in a record store in the Central Coast of California where Jerry and Susan met. Since then, they have created a life together that both personally and professionally emphasizes wellness and movement. 

Susan Miszewski has a PhD in nutrition and is a registered dietitian. She has life-long experience with gymnastics and dance, coaching/teaching, and mentoring. In addition to Poppy and Sage Studio, she is the owner of KnowMe Nutrition. 

Jerry is the founder and owner of Balance Community, and former professional slackliner. He is happy to be bringing his breadth of business knowledge, customer service, and personal enthusiasm for dance and movement to Poppy and Sage Studio. 

Our story would not be complete without including the smallest dancer in the Miszewski family - Riley. She brings the biggest ideas, contagious joy, and a love of making up new dance moves. We are sure you will see her around the studio assisting Jerry and Susan any way she can!
