What is Poppy and Sage Studio?
Poppy and Sage Studio is a dance and movement studio in Lyons, CO, offering classes for kids (ages 3+) and adults. We focus on community, inclusion, creativity, wellness, artistry and joy in a welcoming environment for all experience levels.
Who owns and runs the studio?
Poppy and Sage Studio is owned by a local Lyons family, Susan and Jerry Miszewski. Susan manages daily operations with support from our amazing team of instructors. Meet our team.
Will my experience be similar to other Lyons studios?
Yes. We carry forward the same values of community, inclusion, and joy that Lyons dancers know and love. Many of our instructors have taught in Lyons for years—you’ll likely see familiar faces!
Where are classes held?
While we work toward a permanent location, all Fall 2025 classes will be held at Rogers Hall (410 High St, Lyons, CO 80540).

Another local dance studio has decided not to continue offering a dance program as part of the transition to closing. Poppy and Sage Studio is proud to be stepping in to continue the legacy of dance and movement in Lyons with familiar teachers and classes, while growing and evolving the program. We are offering a variety of dance classes for kids and
Are adult wellness classes available?
We offer an Adult Bollywood (dance) class. However, no other adult wellness class are available at this time. We plan to offer adult wellness classes in the future. For now, we recommend checking out Mayama Movement Studio’s current offerings for adult wellness.

Yes. Contact us at [email protected] to inquire. We also offer a 20% discount for multiple class registrations for a single student.

Poppy and Sage Dance Company (PSC)
What is PSC?
PSC is a group of dedicated dancers who perform in shows, competitions, and community events. Members participate in weekly rehearsals and workshops that build technique, confidence, and community.
